Nothing you can do now, you have cancelled and they have called your bluff. Luck of the draw i'm afraid and the risk you take. Have you cancelled at the end of the season before? or had any discount within the last 6 months? Two possible reasons why they didnt offer it to you.

Wouldnt be supprised if they have become aware of the advice posted here today and are not offering anything so that the message gets around that not everybody will be offered it.

If you don't want to cancel you will just need to call them and say you have changed your mind.
  • I phoned to say I wanted to cancel Sky Sports and they offered me a reduction of £15 per month for the next two months. I think I can get better so said I would 'think about it'. Best to take a step back if they call your bluff so I made sure I left myself a way out if they did.

I'll try again next week to see if I can get a better deal.

If you really don't want to lose Sky Sports just ring them back and say you've changed your mind. Be quick though, sometimes they can de-activate you within a couple of hours.

If its only the sports package youve cancelled then just call up and get it added again when the season starts??

If its your entire package youve cancelled then you'll get a letter in the post with your cut-off date, I'd leave it until the day before and call back.... that is of course unless they don't call you back before then.

I can't think of any business that would want to lose a customer in todays climate.
