Billed incorrect amount
anti-credit
Hi All,
Took out 18months contract with O2 in 2007. Phone didnt work, asked for replacement, they wouldnt replace unless didnt work 3 times after replacing, gave endless customer problems and also I was owed a certain amount of refund, which I never got. They have been sending me bills (incorrect amount ofcourse since refund wasnt done) but have NOT acknowledged my concerns that I have been getting incorrect amount. I eventually gave up and stopped contacting them since end of 2007. The only progress they have made since then is put a default on my credit file. I never said I wouldnt pay, I just wanted them to send me the correct amount. They have passed it on to debt collectors. If pay the correct amount, can I challenge this legally and get my default removed? I had a mortgage declined because of this recently!!
Thanks in advance!
