Does anyone know is the sizing of the Men's Diplom tops is consistent? They have numbers relating to what I assume to be chest sizes and all the sizes are not listed on some product pages.

Sizes
10 - 36/38ins
11 - 39/41ins
12 - 42/44ins
4 - 45/46ins
5 - 47/48ins
6 - 49/50ins
7 - 51/53ins
8 - 54/56ins
9 - 57/59ins

What confuses me is similar type sizing is used for the e-basics products but they are completely different.

Sizes:
4 - 30-32 ins chest
5 - 33-35 ins chest
6 - 36-38 ins chest
7 - 39-41 ins chest
8 - 42-44 ins chest
9 - 45-46 ins chest

Sad news folks, Empire has been taken over by "Shop Direct Group" was called Littlewoods Group

Looks like they website will change eventually to similar to the littlewoods ones , no more freebies using codes

Yep got my letter this morning, guess the shop and save will change as well as littlewoods only give 12%:mad:

I sent tens of messages by their online contact, but got their reply, either asking me to provide personal information, or saying they are out of stock. I called them several times, but got no result or no one received the call. As I am a new customer of Empire Stores, I can not register online without Customer Reference Number. They did not say what time the order will be with me. So I have no choice but wait. disappointing completely.

At last they said the item had sold out, but they did not cancel the order for me automatically. Really poor service. dispaired with them. I dont know what was wrong with them. They are complete rubbish.

I think they refuse to sell the item because my using the discount code.
If they do, why not cancel this order and notify me?

So poor service I have met. Despaired with this rubbish.

sysboy - what's happening to them right now is that in a few weeks time this catalogue, and everything on the website, will disappear. They are being taken over by Littlewoods, and so will effectively have their entire range replaced by the Littlewoods catalogue.

They're not going to start ordering new stock, especially in small quantities, at this point - it just wouldn't be worthwhile for them.


On the upside, we may find that last week or so will have some pretty major clearance discounts going on *fingers crossed*

does anyone have a discount code that applies for electrical items aswell please that they would like to share?
also I am never able to get onto the sales pages, they just won't load is anyone else having the same problem, it's been happening for a while now and customer services have no idea why, the rest of there site works fine.

The £15 off £30 discount code can be re-used if you register with a different e-mail address and use a different credit card. Not sure which part is crucial but doing both of these got me more cheap clothes :beer:
