iPhone 3G - Loyalty Discount?
Do O2 offer the loyalty discount on the iPhone 3G?
My friend wants their:
24months
free iphone
unlimted texts
600mins
unlimited data/wifi
for £41 a month but doesnt want to pay £41 a month for 24 months
Any pointers? Also, when the new iPhone comes out, will O2 offer a free upgrade if you renew the contract?

Unlikely you will get any sort of discount on the I-Phone tariff.
The new I-Phone will be out in a month or 2, it is worth waiting for this. Existing customers might be able to upgrade but will be the cost of the handset and will extend the contract for a further 24 months!
IMO 24 months is too long in a phone contract0 -
I've just upgraded with O2 through carphon warehouse and they wouldn't offer any sort of discount , cashback etc. for th iphone. Said it's just not a possability in any way shape or form.
So I got a samsung tocco ultra , 400 mins , unlimited data (well 200mb a month) , unlimited texts , £50 cashback for £25 on a 24 month. Then sold the samsung for £200 and bought a second hand iphone.
Cheapest way round it , the only thing you can't do is use the wi-fi for free , unless it's your home or work one that is. I think it's the cloud one you can''t use in mcdonalds and starbucks etc.0
