i hate football,rugby and almost every other sport, im currently in the process of joining setanta just for the boxing and UFC, so im a good example of a customer who would use them for the specialist sports

They've defaulted on their payment to the SPL, which has had to dip into its own coffers to pay the clubs so that they don't face any financial difficulties. Setanta is going bust any day now.

Daily Record this morning is reporting:

"GLOBAL media giants ESPN were waiting in the wings last night to save Setanta and take over the TV rights for the SPL.


The news came as SPL chiefs agreed to hand out £3million to their anxious clubs following the failure of the broadcasters to come up with a similar amount."

Not looking good at all. I just read a post on Digital Spy from somebody saying they phoned to subscribe and were told they were not taking new subscriptions.
