Edit - yep there it is!0 -
I'm worrying more about my roots than having the baby at the moment lol! I really want them done, they are big and I want to look nice when people are taking pics of me and the baby lol, but really worried about starting labour when sitting there in foils and not being able to rush off. People keep saying best to leave it til afterwards, BUT I will want them doing asap after the birth and what if I have a baby that wants feeding every hour or so... I can't very well do that under the gown while sitting there (can I??). Oh the dilemma...
Will get a sig on now... off to find out how to do it.
Why not tie a scarf around your head? It'll look like you're trying to keep your hair out of your eyes and not at all like a person trying to hide enormous roots!
I put henna on my hair but mostly for shine as the colour's much the same, so although you can see the roots in the sun, the rest of the time it's all the same colour.
Had a meeting this morning - I'm assisting in a project in the psycho-oncology department, and they're translating a questionnaire from German to English. So I did the big translation, and this was a minutiae discussion - we covered the quibbles over whether to use "does not apply to me" or "not applicable" and such like. It's done now and another thing off my "finished before ML" list. Only a couple of things left!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Because, whenever I've tried a scarf look, it always gets a funny reaction - from my family mostly - and they joke about me reading their palms and looking into my crystal ball etc. Apparently I pull off the gypsy scarf look well, but not really what I was going for!0 -

Morning All .... Just popped in to say that I got the results of my quadruple (blood) test this morning, and my risk of Downs syndrom is 1 in 5. Pretty high, but from our perspective it's still a 4 in 5 chance of the baby not having Downs. We're not going for invasive tests.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Tigsteroonie - We had a fairly high risk as well (1:12), but did not do any invasive tests, we just waited for the 20wk scan and they looked for soft markers. None were found, although I realise that's no guarantee, but it made us relax a bit.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0
