Can I just ask, does anyone else get light headed when they have quite a strong braxton hicks thingy - ma - bob ???
I have been getting them on and off for the last few weeks and they are getting stronger, but I have now started to get a little light headed when I have one !!

    hi everyone
elle- so glad that Rhys is moving to his own cot! does that mean you dont have to see the bad nurse anymore?

mm- glad jas got on her courses. they did a similar thing in my home town. my brothers loved it. think it was for 3 weeks. somethigns you paid for -days out and others were free.
hope when the time comes there is something here that we can use as well.

nice and sunny here. so good day for washing sheets and duvets i think.

right have been on here long enough need to go and do housework!!

elle, meant to ask, how have you found being on your own this week with OH back at work? I assume it wasnt as scary as you thought !!

Thankyou for asking. The looking after and getting to spend time with Rhys has been really good but managing all the visitors on my own has been difficult.

I thought I would get more time to nap but I've still not had an afternoon nap all week.. really got to tackle that next week cos if I don't get to nap I'm really ratty around 4pm which is just as OH gets in from work so I end up snapping at him :o

Really want to go home now if I'm honest. Need to get back to driving then I can stay at home and drive in every day (and in the middle of the night if needs be). With Rhys being moved to a cot, and a new room again tomorrow, we're even more likely to be asked to leave in favour of someone with a higher priority. Think I'll sleep better, be able to get more done in the time I'm not here and also be more comfortable expressing at home too.

As much as I obviously don't want to leave Rhys and be far from him, I know he needs to be here a while longer, but he doesn't need us to be close as he's so less likely to have sudden problems where we need to come running.. The problems that come up now are going to be the long-term ones and ones which will be treated with medication, rather than the need to step him back up to breathing support etc. Also might be better for us to be further away to leave him for longer periods so that he can rest and grow.. being so close means we can disturb him a lot so he's not getting the rest he needs. With the cot, once the monitors go (in a few days, I think) we can pick him up whenever we like but we don't want to be doing that every time we see him so we probably need to see him less.. make any sense?

Sorry, am just rambling now.. Off to the dairy for me!

    WELCOME AND CONGRATULATIONS to Chin!

Mookie - labour vibes to you! Sounds exciting and look forward to hearing your announcement by Monday!

SM- hope your first trip out goes well.

I don;t know what is going on with my bump today - it's gone all hard and as it has stayed that way I'm guessing it's not BH so I think maybe the baby has turned back round again and is now head down with back to the front?

Baby has never been back to front so I'm not sure what it feels like - can anyone describe it for me?

It does although I don;t get why it would be hard at the front then. But what I'm really trying to work out is if it's gone head down as yesterday afternoon there was a LOT of movements and wiggling around and it was clearly moving position in some way, not just kicking, and today the front is all hard and solid.
