Just had the midwife on the phone, apparently my iron level is 9.6 and I need to get some tablets to get it back up again. Except no-one at the doctors is answering the phone. typical

Helen, Sami and Searching popped... uhm... can't remember anything else! Glad you enjoyed your holiday!!! Welcome back!

Yes, you will need pads for when your waters break. They can go with a gush or trickle, or just a few mini floods when you move.

Went to primark to get some nightclothes for my bag. Got some long nighties with buttons at the top and I checked, I can BF with it. Also got 2 pairs of jammies, bottoms and button up shirts. Bottoms fit, shirts do not! But it's cool, a wee vest top looks good under it. Slippers and a plain thin housecoat and that's me all set. :D

Now, DH was supposed to be doing an early so we could go out for a meal tonight, but it fell through. And the kids are away anyway, so I'm going to be all alone!!! What the hell do I do?!

    Hi all,
I haven't caught up yet and prob won't get chance until tonight (I'm at work at the moment), but have a question for you.

I am getting the odd tightenings around the top of my stomach. They're not painful but are uncomfortable. They woke me up the night before last but I didn't have any yesterday. I've had a couple more today.

Yesterday and today though I've been getting cramping low down. It's similar to period pain and is in the same place. Again, it's not painful, just uncomfortable.

Are these BH? I'm 36+5 today.

But when it hurts you really don't care, your too busy trying to get it the hell out of there, and afterwards it's just such a relief that it's all over, you don't feel it :rotfl:

Sounds like it. Drink plenty, keep a check on how often they are happening and call your MW if you are worried.

Thanks Tia. I keep drinking squash, so hopefully that will help.

I've got an antenatal class tomorrow morning so will mention it then if I'm still getting them. They're very irregular - is that how they should be?

If they are BH, they are usually irregular. Worse when you need to pee I find.
