Mine had no blood at all and was just mucus. But that was nearly 2 weeks ago and I'm STILL waiting for things to get moving!

Been on a long walk yesterday and today to try and encourage things to move along, hopefully working as last night spent a few hours with definite goings-on down there every half hour or so, was a bit disappointed I didn't go into labour in the night!

My midwife always says anything over 5 mins gap - just note it down how often and how long each one lasts as you could be at that stage for a loooooong time (as in days, she reckons lol!), and not to worry.

Fingers crossed things are moving for you though!

Edit: Just remembered she also said BH will vary in length between, as in some will be longer and some shorter, but the real deal will only ever get shorter in time between each one, so are yours 7-10 mins as in varying, or they were 10 mins, now 7 mins? And how long are they lasting each time?

I bought a car!!!!! Well nearly, just need to sort the finance, which can't be done until tomorrow. Means I need to juggle about with my spreadsheet and move some money about!

I am not sure searching I am sure someone will be along in a minute who can advise.

I am having a carp day today - cant seem to concentrate on anything - i am supposed to be preparing for oh bro visit in a couple of weeks but just feeling a bit carp. Uncle is in palliative care and things dont look too good and oh being a pain in the **** as i am off bedrest i have to do everything again. Anyway sorry for the moan:o

On an MSE note we have family over america, africa, canada and europe and i was trying to find some pregnancy announcement cards to save telephoning everyone - which would be really expensive :eek: I know they are a bit old fashioned but does anyone know where we can get any for me to send out after my sucessful (hopefully) 12 week scan? I could hand write notelets if anyone knows of any baby style notelets too
