My beloved came home with a 27 litre slow cooker which also sterilises, fills and seals jars with food. So we'll be batch cooking for us and for the baby. Genius.

I'm currently eating a jacket potato and coleslaw - safest option on hospital food menu Nice but hardly a meal, just a snack for now then have something else later. Had tuna pasta bake (M&S ready meal) at about half three too

Just expressed another 4-ish feeds. Went to visit Groucho Groucho afterwards (Rhys is such a grumpy bum today Keeps crying and wriggling around - want to comfort him but it's so nice to hear/see him doing something I'm tempted not to - bad mummy!) and ended up changing his nappy and feeding him too. There's talk of skin-to-skin later on just before I'm due to express again so we'll see what that does - will be nice just to be able to cuddle him regardless!

Stop talking aabout food again girls. You remember last night and my OH not being hungry so he only made beans on toast, when I went to the fridge the b00ger had eaten the left over Spag bol from the night before that I had forgotten was there. He ate it without saying a word and I saw the container on the side, so he had that before offering the beans on toast as my main meal. I asked him later if he thought it was greedy not to have offered to share it with me, 'yes a bit' was the reply. So cross with him again! All this after a home visit from the MW and he was there when she told me to rest up.
