Oops.. Sami, was I supposed to tell everyone? How crap am I!
I got a txt from Sami at half one saying she was in labour and another one at half six with a pic of the gorgeous Edgar
(I'm special, clearly!
) He's a right bonnie little thing
Who suggested knocking off the births from over two weeks ago?! Rhys is three weeks old tomorrow! Pls can he stay until at least his due date? SB's Jamie was an honorary member for a while.. Rhys wants to be one too!
I've been to the breastfeeding class this morning. Got funny looks from just about everyone when I walked in without a bump but we explained and then everyone was just asking if he was okay etcMidwife said I am fine to take fenugreek so I've had 4 of the 6 tablets I can have daily already. Nurses up here told me to take Rhys' blanket with me when I next expressed and a combination of the blanket, two tablets, a litre of Ribena and a four hour break from expressing (duration of the class) and I got enough for the next five feeds. He's had two formula feeds this morning and thrown both of them back up
Hopefully I'll get enough tonight to keep him going and my supply will come back up with the tablets and more fluid (that's more than I usually have, not that you have to have an excess - I just don't drink enough as it is). I've got the blanket here now and my boobs were tingling so much I had to move it away from me - "primative" as one of the nurses described it this morning, but it's the smell of him on it that helps as I can't do skin-to-skin yet.
OH's mum is here now (just waiting for her to go before I express again) then we're going to our house to plan out what we want in each kitchen cupboard and my mum is unpacking all the kitchen boxes tomorrow. My parents are coming later tonight too. Want to have a nap too somewhere in that plan!
Hope everyone is alright xx Searching, you want labour vibes yet?
Well done you!!! Told you about the smell thing (I used a teddy that I left in the incubator till moo time then returned when I dropped off the milk). It's a strange feeling isn't it? That tingle up and down your belly and chest. I am so looking forward to that!
Did you use the electric pump or your TT one? And have you got a cold water steriliser?0 -
Hi, I can't seem to keep up with you all at all at the moment, I went to me NHS antenatal class this morning, was pretty good actually but i did end up looking like teachers pet because i knew a lot of the answers to the questions she was asking.....but it seemed like i was the only one there who's done any research at all about having a baby???
I did find out that our hospital gives 4 free Hypnobirthing classes which i'm really pleased about! I have my own self-hypnosis that i was going to use but it would be nice to have some of their scripts too...
having a quick scan of this page i see that Sami's had Edgar and Elle's making more boobie milk so good new all round! Hope everyone else is well!0 -

Tia, almost all of my Christmas shopping's done already. Still need a big present for my beloved, and the rest of it is finished.
<jerry springer>
There's a guy I vaguely know who's been slagging me off for some time. He's desperately attempting to shag the woman who wished birth defects on our baby, but what he doesn't know and I've just found out is that she's been telling everyone who'll listen that he wished the birth defects on the baby and blamed it on her. I'm currently debating whether or not to tell him.</jerry springer>Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I'm alone in the house with nobody to tell and it was on my mind distracting me from the ice cream I'm supposed to be eating for the good of the freezer. Nasty woman doesn't like my husband and wished birth defects on our baby. So he responded and was very rude to her, and when she went crying to mutual friends they asked us what the **** was going on. We explained her comments, they were surprised I hadn't gone for her, they went back and told her there was no sympathy forthcoming. Whereupon she blamed the guy who's trying to get into her pants and said he said it.
I live in a village of a million people. Seriously.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
