Bit more information wouldnt go a miss! What channels are affected, what system do you have (plus/HD?) and any, does it happen at specific times. Could be 101 things with the limited info you posted.

This is a process of elimination. Firstly, check the connexions at the back of the digibox. If this is ok make a list of the affected channels. The next step is to connect your digibox to a friend or neighbour's satellite. If you have the same problems then your receiver is faulty; if not it is your cable, dish, alignment, LNB or a combination of all four.

What is the make and model number of digibox? Some are prone to power supply unit failure.

I am having a problem with picture break up at the moment because my neighbour's tree grew by several metres over the last 2 summers and now interrupts my signal when the breeze catches the branches. I was going to move my dish, but noticed a few weeks ago that the tree seems to be dying ( nothing to do with me, but they recetly got a puppy so maybe it's peering on it? ), so I will wait till next year before I do anything. I still have freeview so no biggie.

The bl00dy pigeons sit on my dish inbetween the receiver and the dish. I have carpet gripper cable tied to it with about 10 cable ties because they still manage to balance themselves there blocking the signal.

That's exactly it only now where the bird in the picture is sitting is a bit of carpet gripper and a whole load of cable ties sticking upwards. Buggars still sit there. I wouldn't mind but there are loads of dishes about but they seem to prefer mine. Makes me wonder if they give off heat or something and no one else in the block is connected anymore. What I really need is to stick some poisoned six inch nails and maybe that'll sort them out.
