Motorway driving advice

I drive on the M6 everyday and it's like a calm oasis compared to driving in central B'ham or London!
The mongs sat at 50mph in the inside lanes, forcing the wagons out into the middle lane doing 56mph are the real pain in the !!!!.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
M40 southbound closed since early this morning. Coincidence? It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

Driving on motorways is easier than driving in town. All vechicles are going the same way. As long as you stay in the slow lane (the lane on the left) until you get more confident you won't have any problems, No one minds you doing 50 in that lane. Don't sit in the middle lane doing 50 though. You will have a lorry up your ar*e in seconds. Don't worry about missing a turning, everyone does it. Just got to next junction and go back on your self.
The worst part will be when you get to London. Road is full of right d*cks. If possible get one of your family members to meet you somewhere just off the motor way and then show you the way.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

I find motorway driving a lot less stressful than driving in cities. I don't understand why they don't incorporate motorway driving into the driving test, it would make for a lot less nervous drivers such as yourself. If you do take the wrong turning, don't panic, just pull off at the next opportunity and get your bearings. Like everything in life, you get better with experience!
Because if you live in Shetland / Orkney or North of Scotland or West Wales or Cornwall it could be a bit of a trip to find one;).0 -

If they want us to learn to drive on motorways let them build some! Some people are hundreds of miles away from the nearest one. Are you suggesting they all travel that far to sit their tests, when in reality there's little chance of them actually driving on one in the future? And it would be interesting to see people from Orkney and Shetland drive to their nearest motorway. Do you actually have any idea where they're even at?0
