in Water bills
i have just moved in to a new house and i'm not sure what to do with my water. i have been told to leave it on because its like a kettle with a thermostate it will just keep boiling so i have warm water all the time and i don't have to heat up a full tank when i want abit of water. but some people have said put your water on just before you wake up and just before you come home. but i'm heating up a full tank twice a day by doing that. can anyone tel me which one would be the cheapiest. we are out the house for a min of 8 hours 5 days a week.

Depends on the type of boiler you have, we put ours on for 30 mins in the morning and it will last all day, if we decide to have a bath and there is not enough hot water we just put it on for 30 mins0
