nokia n96 water damage??

i bought a nokia n96 from ebay recently and found that the little white paper under the sim card slot is pink and i think its supposed to be white unless theres been some sort of contact with water anyone with advice will be good

You are correct. Get in touch with the seller for a refund.
If ANYTHING goes wrong with the phone it won't be covered by warranty as water damage voids it.0
