Orange Contract Help
Hi,
I'm due an upgrade with orange next month as my contract runs out during August but the phone i want to upgrade to (Blackberry Onyx) is yet to be released which is going to be around nov-dec i think. Rang upgrades today and they said i would not have to upgrade and after my contract finishes in August i would just "roll over" and pay £35 a month? . Does this mean after August i will not be in a contract therefore i can still cancel if i choose to later on if the phone is relased on a different network first? Or would i still be in a contract with orange and can upgrade at a later date when the phone is released on their network? Im confused about all this "rolling over"!!
I would like to stay with orange but just dont want to upgrade yet. I could cancel but would lose the broadband so in two minds with what to do.
Thank You
Trek

After your contract ends you're just on a rolling month on month contract. You can give 28 days notice and leave whenever you like.0

Thanks for your help. Just another question, do i still need to give them notice that im leaving the contract or do i automatically go onto the rolling contract?
Thanks

At the end of your term (18 months, 24 whatever) your contract is automatically changed to a month on month.
If you want to leave and keep your number, just ask for your pac code when you use it, it ends your contract.
If you don't want to keep your number tell them you want to end your contract and, after 28 days, it ends and your number goes back into limbo. Be aware, if you do the latter and they offer you a payg sim with your old number on it the contract will not end until you register the new sim they send you. A few people here have received the payg sim and just stuck it in a draw without doing anything with it. They then find a few months later that the network has contiuned to charge them. . .0 -
