Giving a young person a penalty is quite a frightening experience, especially a disabled one, she should have been given the option to pay for her journey.
I will be more careful in future.

On looking up the station details, it does state that penalty fares no not apply when travelling from her starting point.

I'm a bit confused. That post #16 quoted a post I made but I fail to see the connection? I was actually deriding those that have made stupid 'pay it you're guilty' posts.

As i explained, as far as I remember from the bye-laws identity and authority to issue Penalty fares is important so possibly invalid.
