Have you sold anything and been nervous?!!

I've sold multiple electronic goods, I don't really get nervous more so I find it exciting seeing what the last bid is. I believe the only reason you should be nervous is if you're doing some illegal. After all usually if you're selling something on ebay you're more likely to get less than what you paid for it so how can you get nervous? Does that mean I should be nervous when I walk into shops and spends loadsa dollar?0

i get nervous too when i list things at 99p (have a lot on at the moment!) but its purely because im worried that it will literally go for 99p! some things i expect to go for nothing, but others are worth a lot so i get a bit freaked!
and i dont get what you mean about going into shops? i get worried when i spend money in shops as i hate spending money lol. but confused to how it relates to selling? lol0 -

What I was trying to put across is, really more people sell their second hand stuff on ebay right? So if you're selling something for less than you paid for because you're not going to get the same price you bought it for. How can you get nervous? So I said does that mean when I walk into a shop and spend a lot of money should I get nervous? If that makes sense.0 -
I've put a Wii Fit on eBay at 99p no reserve. I'm bricking it. Started the 7 day auction on sunday night and have 4 watchers but no bids.
I've always been confident that things go for their worth but i'm thinking it was a bad time to put it on since the weather is so nice!!
I've seen some go for about £50 but mine has never been opened with board.
Has anyone else been nervous about their items, or do you not like to take a risk and always add a reserve/start at your minimum accepted??
And nicely advertised on moneysavingexpert too...:rolleyes:They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
i once put a fully working lawnmower up on ebay for 1p for collection only. The only thing wrong with it was that the box was broken. It went for 1p.0

OK, so you're advertising yours and several others :rolleyes::rolleyes:
If this argument continues guys we are gonna have some seriously long posts on here since it seems obligatory to increase the number of sarcastic smilies every time you post :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:.... .. :rotfl:
In reality though, i don't think mentioning it here will increase the sale price, it's not like the op has posted a direct link to her item and i think most of us are aware that there are people posting wii's with a 99p start on ebay....so no harm done, in my opinion.0 -

Glad the irony wasn't lost on one person at least
