I know plenty of Polish people, in England and Poland, who often resort to swear words or childish insults - to be honest though my comment was more a statement of fact than an insult!

I'd also suggest, as an English person, that English isn't really 'our' language anymore and is now a global language influenced mainly by American culture and the formation of many new 'Englishes' in countries throughout the world, and that it just originated in England.
