Did have a run in the boiling hot sun yesterday, not pleasant!!
I didn't run but my OH did. It was very hot with hardly any breeze. I thought it was well organised at the beginning, with lots of free sports drinks, water, energy bars and sunscreen being given out. I heard afterwards that a couple of the water stations ran out for a bit so they had mopeds going up and down the course handing bottles out. OH got all the water he wanted / needed without his own water supply. At the finish there should have been more - he got a tiny wee bottle of water which he said wasn't enough but I expect they were trying to make sure people got some instead of none! He finished in 4:06 whereas last year he did 3:45 (it was much cooler!)Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
