Jacs - you need a Nike+ gadget which includes a bit to go in the trainer (Snaggs - I kind of thought that might be it but by the time I caught up on the thread you were gone) and a bit that plugs into the ipod Nano. It'll need calibrated then go for a run - you can set targets for distance, time or calories as well as just go for a run and it records time, distance pace. Register on the Nike+ website and you get the record you saw from my linky. Feel free to have a nosy around and see what it can do.
As for the Garmin - I don't really know anything about it except I can't afford one!
Squizz - I did join Fetch but have never really looked at it since
Fetch is quite good for noseying at each other's training
but I do fancy the Nike thing - thanks for the explanation. My trainers have got the little compartment for the sensor so it seems a waste not to really!

I have the 405, it was expensive but I had some amazon vouchers and birthday and christmas money so spent it on something I had been really wanting (and slightly needing
) for ages! I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
