At work we have got the galvanised JJ cages, they come with free vet bed, divider and bowls. Really sturdy construction with 3 doors.

Ahhh....I initially thought the large sizes were sold out but then I scrolled around a little more. I'm very interested in these crates actually. Still, I'll play the MSE game and have a look round for a bit longer.

Thanks very much Chez22 I really appreciate the help and advice.

  • Just had an email from www.zooplus.co.uk and they have up to 40% off some cages, and if you havent shopped there before you'll get an extra 10% off and free delivery if over 29.00 spent.

I buy a lot of food from here as on some brands they are very good value for money!

Yes these sound similar to the savic cages which are very good quality, galvanised and not at all flimsy.

As promised, here is the website

Really good quality and reasonable prices.

Thanks Chez - I love the sound of the up and over door. Out of interest, where do you work? In kennels?

Are these as a quality as the Salvi cages?

I personally prefer the plastic trays. The cages we use at work have them and they are for GSDs/BSDs so they are pretty robust. Cavs generally aren't too bad for chewing even when pups.

There is a thread on this forum already about dog crates, there is some info on there about various brands.

Please post a pic of your little one when you get him!

Of course - I would love to! I can't wait to show him off :D
    Thanks again :)

Yes I am a kennel maid. The cages we have are really good, I can't comment on the other cages as I haven't seen them but they have been recommended by other posters.

Thanks. Also, do you use the crate fan? I like the idea of keeping him cool, but ...

No LOL I think that's not really necessary!

Maybe I would be better off standing and fanning him by hand instead then :D

If you start that where will it end?! They are very regal dogs, he'll expect a crown and total obedience from his subjects!
