Nokia 5800 on pay as you go vodafone help pls

Hi guys would really like to buy the nokia 5800 but even though I can cancel my vodafone family of four £15 monthly I really dont want to as its working out great with the kids. Trouble is I can not seem to buy it on pay as you go for vodafone. I have thought about buying from another net work but will that make my warranty void should I unlock it.
Or should I buy the cheaper version the new Samsung Tocco lite at £85 less...??? come on guy/gals would love your thoughts or ideas please.

Any reason why can you cannot buy it on PAYG for vodafone? These phones are sold instore with Vodafone or get it simfree direct from Nokia.co.uk with a color of your choice for £250. Quidco are also giving 15% off purchases online from Nokia. Or order it from dialaphone.co.uk for £185.70 and 10% off using "metro10" voucher code and should be unlocked.

Or you could buy it from CPW as this will also be an unlocked version that will take a Vodafone SIM card...
