First flat...first internet connection...Help/advice

Evening all,
I've been having a look around and wondering if anybody could give me their thoughts. I've just brought a new flat which is a new build and am in need of the internet along with Sky HD. I've already signed up with BT weekend calls and am on a 18 month contract there so i dont have to pay that silly £120+ connection charge!
I have read that if you are with O2 that you can get a good deal via Quidco? (What is that?). It seems that if you have your mobile with O2 and you have a pay monthly contract you can get broadband for £7.34. I'm with O2 so it is a possibility. Currently living at home and the internet connection at home is with Pipex, who i have to say have been extremely reliable and i have read some pretty horrible things about them previously.
I can get Sky HD and Sky Broadband as a package and will have a monthly outlay of £63.75, or just the Sky HD at £53.75. I'm a little unsure of the Sky broadband though so am not sure what its like. Any thoughts on that? Also when ordering Sky HD there is an 'Offer Code' before ordering, not sure what that would entail?
Or are there any packages out there that people know of? I would be using the internet at fair bit seeing as i work from home most the time so it would really need to be unlimited or at around 40GB and a speed of upto 8MEG which is what i'm on at the moment.
Any further details required i'm happy to answer them.

I do not know if you were asking in a round about way BUT Sky have started to throttle.
IMO BeUnlimited is the way forward - tell them you have an O2 phone and you will get a truly unlimited service for around £12 per month and there are sign up offers available.
The staff are based in Eastern Europe but are extremely professional and will help you no end.0 -

Do you know what the internet is like, in terms of disconnections and reliability as that is paramount rather than the throttling?0 -

Never been d/c once
They did some network stuff late night - that was about all - with plenty of warnings
You get through to tech support in under a minute as well.
I only really used tech support at the beginning when I wanted to open ports etc. which no other provider would go through with you step by step0
