free calls by converting x-net minutes
Hi peeps,
I've come across http://www.qxtelecom.co.uk/qxdial/ and apparently QXdial convert your x-net minutes into 'qxdial credits' on their telecom system. This way you can use your x-net minutes (or subsequent credits for that matter) to make free international phone calls.
Has anybody come across any similar companies out there that use a similar system????

Other one is http://www.pre-dial.com/
The qxtelecom one is quite good. I actually use it myself so can explain how it works. But in summary (I got an everyday 50 orange and 02 leisure tariff.) You call (assume you are using ED50) the 0870 number, choose option 200 and than 050
It will than countdown to 50 minutes and hang up the call.
You will than have 50 qxdial points store.
do this everyday and the points build up.
After say 10th day you have 500points in storage. Now you decide you want to call say Oman
Each minute calling the 0870 access number to call oman they will deduct 6 points. So you will be able to call Oman with the store minutes for 83 minutes.
It is a good way to "store" the minutes away if you are not going to use it that month, day, depending on tariff you have. Also good for calling aboard. Cause for example some places like Malaysia mobile daytime they give you a small credit back (and still route the call). so you can than use the access number to call the Malaysia mobile on the weekend at no charge0 -
now i've really got a headache! :-[something missing0

:-) I have to say it is something which is not for the lighthearted. Cause you have to remember to store the minutes and than use. (well in most cases.) Most ppl I know perfer things like you just dial 1889, 0845xxx, 0870 xxx than the number you want to reach and away you go. The only reason why I use it is like now my wife family is coming over from Italy / Russia so for that month all the Everyday 50 won't be used. so instead of the minutes going to waste!. I store it so than I can call 0870, oman, etc during the daytime or whenever for free :-)0
