how to get best freebies with contract phones

just an idea

we all see a lot of freebies offered with contract phones (PSP IPODS ETC...) IN NEWSPAPERS everyday

i have never had the courage to go for any of those offers but recently seen in link and dixon (dsg group) and cpw i am thinking about going for something like that!

are they good value over 12 months?

any money savers had any experience good/bad getting those freebies?

Well .... if you use the CPW offers as an example, free psp on Orange Your Plan 300 - £40 pm for 12 months, assuming you'd get 12m half price if you didnt take the psp .... the half price would be worth £240, the psp is only £180. But then, you dont have the hassle of cash back, and its only assuming the half price would be 12m, it might be six or nine.

Like your sig says, its only good value if you need it!

I've never taken one of these deals, but the only problem I'm aware that cpw has had with them is with last months nano deals, they were around a week late due to stock issues.
