The £1K per month can come from anywhere.

is it me or do they seem to be applying the interest later than they used to??

normally after approx. 10.30pm on the 1st working day of the month the interest used to be showing online, so i used to transfer it out to maximise interest for the following month.

this month and last it doesnt' seem to be added until midnight at the earliest but still dated 1st (if the 1st is a working day). last night i checked up until about 11.55pm and it still wasn't showing. this morning it's there with yesterdays date.

i got £10.06 for each account, is that what others got?

Mine also used to be about 1030ish, but it's now around 0130 the 2nd working day, but backdated to day 1.

Looks like holding onto these Vantage is now from today once again paying real dividends. For those that haven't heard make sure you check out the Lloyds website and additional threads here on MSE where you'll see some rather good news as eluded to above.

All transactions (interest, DDs, credits etc) on Lloyds accounts used to take place around 10:30pm (about 3pm on Sundays).

Since a year or two ago, they now all take place after midnight.

Sorry, is that really tried & tested?

No interest paid on any balance over £6,000 (£5,000 from 1 November 2013).

That doesn't mean you get no interest at all if your balance goes OVER 6k, right?

Yes, I transferred 1k out from Lloyds Vantage, cycled it round Halifax (for the free £5) then back to Lloyds and cycled it round my Vantage accounts, ending up in the account it started from.

You get interest up to 6K. If you had 7k you would get interest up to the 6k max then nothing on the final 1k.
