Does it actually make any difference where your branch is anyway? I expect to operate it mostly online, but I dont want to have to travel out the way if they need me to call there in person.

It doesn't matter which branch you choose to visit.

i have had a vantage account for a while and finally, they let me open a 2nd one last week.

took a couple of days to show online but its there since Sunday morning.

when i click on my existing account for details i have a full and proper statement, when i click on the new account for details it says something like "there are no further details to show".

i have sent in two payments and the balance is correct and is "cleared funds" but neither transaction is actually listed.

is this normal for a newly setup account? i am a little nervous about putting the full 7k in if i cant see the transaction.

    thank you.

Yes, that happened with me. I rang them to query it and was told to try making another deposit, so I transferred £1 from another account at Lloyds and that seemed to kick start the online statement.

is it me or do they seem to be applying the interest later than they used to??

normally after approx. 10.30pm on the 1st working day of the month the interest used to be showing online, so i used to transfer it out to maximise interest for the following month.

this month and last it doesnt' seem to be added until midnight at the earliest but still dated 1st (if the 1st is a working day). last night i checked up until about 11.55pm and it still wasn't showing. this morning it's there with yesterdays date.

i got £10.06 for each account, is that what others got?

You're right, interest does seem to be going in a bit later than it used to. £10.06 for me as well.

How many threads about vantage will be resurrected today lol?
Serious point though, how do they define DDs as active?(reg activity at least once a month)?

When you put in a grand a month can it be from one's LTSB own e-saver? Straight in & out?

Mighyt be worth bothering with this time.
