Can I take Stevie out of my sig and put you in instead!? :D

The problem is you sig is wrong, my guesses are based on the FT index which covers all, not just one bank and its mortgages  BTW that is -17% :D
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher

But marginally more reliable than listening to an individual who seems to be on a one man mission to save the housing market by picking pointless holes in any anomaly while missing the bigger picture by a country mile.

My money was on end of summer 2009. Looks like I was a little late - price declines are definitely over.

Yes, I would be gutted too in that situation. I've only rented for 1 year since I was 18, and that was a year too long.

Come on Mewbs, stop being greedy and cheer up. House prices are 20% cheaper then 2 years ago, plus interest rates are at record lows - I wouldn't mind being a FTBer right now.

he's got to be angry about that - spending all that money on rent and maintaining him during his university days.

just imagine he doesn't get that media studies degree at the end of it - Mewbs will be going mental!!!

he's already trying to be the big bear but he really hasn't got it in him - he should just stick to the funnies.
    it's better all round.
