What package are you looking at? I can't see any options for £10 (http://broadband.o2.co.uk/mobile/payandgo.jsp). Unless you're thinking of the trick where you use an iPhone SIM card with a £10 top-up. In that case you get 1 year's "unlimited" access, or until they realise that you're not using the SIM in an iPhone and cut you off.
AFAIK Vodafone is the only network where the mobile broadband top-ups don't expire after a certain time.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
whats the cheapest you can top up on o2 then0

See the link I posted above. The cheapest in terms of time is one month/3GB for £15; the cheapest in terms of data is one day/0.5GB for £2. These prices are comparable to Three and cheaper than Vodafone - however, Vodafone top-ups do not have a time limit.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

I've seen some of their dongels cheap and thought i'd save some pennies compared to 3 , ah well0

Actually can one get a Vodafone broadband pay as you go simcard without getting a Vodafone Dongle as well? Or is it just a normal Pay as you go simcard and need to choose a certain addon?0

Annoyingly as far as I can tell the only provider that allows you to do that is 3, you can just select a mobile broadband addon with any SIM.
With the others, it seems to get a mobile broadband enabled SIM card, you need to buy a dongle too.
Which is annoying for me because I have an unlocked USB Modem that works quite well and some providers work better than others and it would be nice to be able to chop and change without buying more modems!0 -
