Dog eating less in the heat?

Have you tried those cooling tablets from pets at home? I can't remember what they are called and i'll try look it up. One of my dogs are the same at the mo, and he's the fluffy furry one. He's gone off of food but will be about to scrounge tit bits of off me if i'm eating. He's also staying indoors or only sitting in the shade in the garden whereas my other dogs is such a tart and soaking up the sun at any chance. If all else seems fine i'd say yours is ok.

Those tablets: Sherleys Cooling Tablets or Johnson's Vitacool.

I occasionally give mine the latter, don't nessecarily notice much of a difference as i haven't been giving them regularly enough yet but i have known a dog that died of overheating...silly owner thought they were doing the best thing by forcing the dog out for a walk in the hot weather even though it resisted and apparently looked exhausted.
When it gets hot (or hot for England ) and your dog just wants to laze in the shade give them plenty of water and let them do just that.

My Dobbie 10 months has gone off his food.

He now eats breakfast at 5pm and dinner at 8pm.

His weight is still fine so im not worried.

When its hot my 2 get blocks of frozen tripe to eat, they love it!
