looks like your rain has just arrived here soappie  I've had to abandon the garden as its too heavy to carry on outside. And I definitely won't get the mowing done. Hopefully it will let up enough soon for me to be able to go out and put things away...

... so some laundry added to the ironing basket, some on the airer and some in the TD. I'll put the towels in now, then make a start on my test version of my brother's wedding cake. I'm trying to work out what size it needs to be and see whether it will stack unsupported or whether I should use board between the tiers.

Once I've finished in the garden, I'll have a bath (to make sure there's no chocolate on me :D) and do some ironing while watching the 10 things about dieting that's on iplayer.

My step count for today is disastrous, but I really can't face going into the gym just to get it up to where it should be. I'll have to run around the house alot - and make sure I do really well for the rest of next week!

ETA - Dusty I have got your email, but I need to spend a bit of time thinking about it. If you've got a deadline, let me know.

We've had thunder and lightning, hailstones and torrential rain. And now it's sunny again. Weird day.

After the rain DD2 and I went to a garden centre to get her some plants for her planters on the fence and of course I had to buy a couple of plants too.....they are planted now. Definitely didn't need watering in.

Hi All, well have had a completely lazy day and been on the sofa watching series one of brothers and sisters on dvd. Now want to buy series 2!! But the housework has suffered.
I've managed to complete the kitchen and master bedroom lists plus one bathroom is spotless however the rest of the house is a work in progress!! I will have to start afresh from tomorrow despite the busy week ahead as i'm really not off to a good start!!Also managed one of three baskets of ironing which is good as i'm about to start on number 2.
Am now off to catch up on what i've missed on the thread!!
    Take care all

I've done all the ironing, potted on my tomatoes (11 plants from 12 seeds - not bad going!) earthed up the spuds and got dinner ready to go in the oven. I'm going to thin out the lettuce and we'll have the thinnings with our dinner.

Now, how does this visualisation work? What are we supposed to actually visualise? Do we visualise toots (I'm assuming it's for her) and as most of us don't know what she looks like it will be difficult. I think this kind of thing is very powerful - creating the energy to be focussed on somewhere/something - but I'm not sure how to go about it. Please can someone advise :D

    Phew....that was hard work!

I've just cleaned out DDs guinea pig as a treat (she usually does it), vacuumed all upstairs, cleared a load of magazines / comics from children's rooms, banana cake in oven and sorted out some dry clothes.

Looks like they'll all be back about 7pm so i'm going to do another zap round the house in a bit....just having a break first! xx

My Mum came over at around 3.30 and we had some of my lemon curd cake. I'm pleased to say that it was a success. It was nice and moist and quite light too, although I think if I were making it again, I may add some lemon zest to it to make it a bit more lemony. OH like it too, although he thought it was a little bit sweet, so maybe the zest would help with that too. I used vitalite for the first time, and whether it was this that made it so light, I don't know.

Just been to look around West Dean with my Mum, but we weren't there very long, as they didn't have a lot in their shop, and my Mum was most disappointed to be leaving empty-handed (ie no plant). Rain came down on our way home. Will have to look at the weather forecast for tomorrow to see what I should be wearing for work, as it was actually quite cold out and about.

Off to join OH watching the TV now before he heads out again.
