Afternoon all.
It poured with rain overnight but it's not too bad now, trying to be sunny. My pot with catmint in was knocked over this morning and the cats were very interested so I think another cat got a bit too vigorous with it rather than it got knocked over by the wind/rain!
Roast dinner almost ready. I've done lots of washing up etc. Not enough washing for a load today. Tidied round the living room.
Shouting cats - sometimes old cats do go a bit doolally and shout for no reason. I think you just have to put up with it......
I have my catmint in a pot with a wire cage over it (actually an old hanging basket) in so this protects it and stops cats trying to kip in it IYSWIM.
My cat pays it very little attentionbut it sdoes attract feline visitors.
It's cold and rainy and I am fed up!:o

hex - I've just done a major update on my linked in profile. I'd appreciate any feedback on whether it would appeal to recruiters ... so if you're looking for a displacement activity to avoid doing your ironing, feel free to have a look0

Roast eaten and cleared away. While we were eating the heavens opened and it poured with rain, glad I didn't have any washing out! That has made it a lot cooler too.
Valli, I bought the catmint this year and put it in a pot to give it a chance. The one I bought last year was decimated within 5 minutes of being planted in the ground. Poor thing.
I was hoping to sit outside and read while DH watches the Grand Prix but that's not going to happen now, maybe it will dry up later. Don't fancy a soggy bottom......0 -

It's a morphy richards fastbake (cooltouch) type. Says it will bake a loaf an under an hour... Need to go get yeast and such and then will give it a go.
Try this - Morphy Richards Fastbake Club. That model is very popular amongst OSers

stuff out the freezer for dinner
Need to defrost 2nd freezer this week so have been using up bits. I need a receipe to use up my frozen strawberries - thinking strawberry icecream. Also have about 12 frozen bananas - how many banana cakes can one family eat? One already made and in the freezer for the school fete next Saturday (they may be getting more than one)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
