Just a quick not to anyone getting mobile contracts with CPW or E2Save with Cashbacks.

I just got my 2nd and final cashback from the Nokia 7600 on 3 (£2.99 a month) deal that started a year ago. The 2nd cheque that I have just received is for £139, NOT £162 as it should be!!!

Not a big amount, but still £20 that I would rather have in my pocket.

Have jsut e-mailed them and told them to check the T&C's (a copy of which I sent with my claim). Hopefully just a genuine mistake but pays to keep your wits about you!

    Thanks for the warning. Appreciated.

Can you answer a question for me please? I just received the refurb Nokia 6310i on a cashback deal from CPW. There really wasn't anything in the packaging about the cashback deal. Is it simply a matter of forwarding the bills to the address given on the web page? I am used to Mobileshop where you have vouchers and a fairly strict plan to comply with.

    Thanks,

    V.

Call them up and request a Cashback Redemptions Leaflet. There was nothing in with my 6230i, so I did just that.

    Virgo,

Did you check the T&C's on the page before you purchased the phone? Should have said on there.

Failing that, they should post out seperately the redemption leaflet, if not then phone them up.

Would def advise printing / saving the webpage that details the amounts and when you get them. Will be very handy to prevent the problem I have got!!!

e2save mis-paid me too. They've done it twice now. Always cheque how much they send you and don't presume it's the correct amount. Saying that, they sorted it out without any problems.

Yes I did. I have been doing redemptions for several years now and I know all the tricks. However, with this one they omitted to send the redemption leaflet and also the padded 'trade in' envelope.

    I won't get caught though!!

    Cheers,

Same happened with me on my latest contract phone, which arrived this week. I've sent them an email requesting both the redemption leaflet and the trade in envelope. Not sure why they didn't include them this time around, I had no problems last time.

Still, they did pay me about £7 or £8 more than they should have on my last cashback cheque. Not that I'm complaining :D
