Well i dunno about that. AVG will be slowing it down (Avira runs quite a bit faster)

If you decide to remove AVG you need the removal tool ~

Probably needs a good clean with CCLEANER ~
Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)

Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

and a good defrag ~ I use DEFRAGGLER personally

Whats the computer spec? (cpu speed, RAM size, hard drive size and how much space is left on hardrive)
