I half disagree with that. Firefox by itself would almost certainly have allowed the computer to be infected too. Firefox with NOSCRIPT would have stopped it in its tracks though
Firefox is not susceptible to the particular attack used, according to Symantec. But yes your general comment stands. FF IS more secure, particularly with NoScript (I also run it in Sandboxie, just in case). IE is getting better, but it's not there yet!Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
