My laptop got hit with it this afternoon, i had to shut down quick and when i tried to boot up again all i get is rows of data going down the screen.
I`ve just been on DS and others have been hit with it as well, since last night, so beware! Seems like the virus has come from one of the ads.

Just been on main homepage and the only thing is some survey site?
Or do you mean further into the site?
Is your computer clean now?:idea:0 -
I got this last night, I was following Britains got talent on the forum when suddenly a page wouldn't load & then Zone Alarm told me it had quarantined a high risk clicker trojan:eek: It sent me to a Myspace page.0

It was an infected advert (damn you selling out DS!), no problems now.
Update your spyware software (spybot etc.), do a scan and remove the trojan.0 -
Digital Spy, at the time of writing, has a couple of these...

Another perfectly good example of why not to use Internet Explorer.
If you MUST use IE, don't want to change, or anything else, I strongly recommend running it in a sandbox, which can be done for free (with a little fiddling) using Sandboxie. I used it for 20 minutes and bought a license. It's great.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Firefox > Internet Explorer
People only seem to use IE because its familiar. But conversely most virus's are written to attack Microsoft products......“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I half disagree with that. Firefox by itself would almost certainly have allowed the computer to be infected too. Firefox with NOSCRIPT would have stopped it in its tracks though:idea:0 -
