    Game bought Gamestation ??

Do you mean they bought the shops or they actually bought out the company ? We've just had a Gamestation shop open in our local shopping center and they still have all the greatness the old ones had and there is certainly more pre-owned than new titles on there shelves.

Edit: Oh Blimey!! They have bought them out  Will have to keep an eye on our local store now and see what happens.

They have owned Gamestation for 2 years now (they bought them from Blockbuster back in May 2007). They just run them as 2 separate brands, they still open new Gamestation and Game stores even when there is one already in a Town.

I do like our local CEX here in Leeds, although I don't tend to buy games etc, rather I use it for purchasing PC parts, for which i've found it one of the better second hand retailers.

Couple oftimes now i've bought stuff in one shop on sale, walked down to cex and sold it as second hand and made a couple of quid for my troubles!

Only problem is sometimes the queues can be horrendous.

Hmmm, it seems it varies from shop to shop. Our local Cex has a Wii Fit balance board and game for £40, brand new never been opened.... of course I already have one. But the staff are all the little brothers and sisters of people I went to college with years ago....never had any trouble. Though the one in Pompey is small and quiet I must say.

Gamestation used to be amazing but it sucks now :(

P.S. They were the Wii games not Gamecube.
