Am now the proud owner of 3 lovely photos showing our gorgeous baby, one includes one where he looks like he's waving coz his arm is raised near his head. He moved his arms about for me and my mum so we could see him. Measuring at 10 weeks which is according to dates where I should be......
Saw his heart beating away as well so am so relieved. Had set myself up to not see anything, which was a self preservation thing i think.
Took the photos in DH's work so he could see them as well.
Now need to get on at Gp's urgery again and chase up my booking in appt and my 12 week scan.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

cant tell you how exhausted I am LOL
I didnt sleep very well last night because the council have put the xmas lights up down our village high street, which our house is on, and of course with all the wind lately they are banging against the window, theyre like icicle style ones, but my side of the bed is closest to the window, and then with all the emotion of this morning, im just ready to sleep...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
That is fantastic news CAFC - bet you can't stop looking at the pictures. I'm so glad that everything is OK. How lovely that your mum went with you, my mum came to one of DD2's scans as I wanted her to see as they never had scans when she was pregnant with me (over 40 years ago). Hope the sickness is not too bad now.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160

still feel sick but me and my mum went for a celebratory pannini

DH couldnt get off work with such short notice so im glad i had someone there, although I think she was pretty nervous....
Mum got a picture as well
Mum also pointed out that perhaps because ive been so stressed about whats going in thats made my sickness worse. Am just hoping over the next 2 weeks it clears up xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Shame your DH couldn't go, hopefully he'll be able to make the 20 week scan (if they give you more notice). At least you know it's not twins!!!!! Bet that was a relief?
Hopefully your mum is right, the thing is there is always something to worry about when you are pregnant, you get over one worry and then worry about something else. When I was about 22 weeks pregnant with DD2 I got an electric shock from a plug and had to be taken to hospital by Ambulance, that was a worrying time wondering if she was OK. My Nan still worries about my dad and he's 72 and she's 93, don't think you ever stop worrying.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
no i can imagine im never gonna stop worrying lol
I still get my 12 week scan in a couple of weeks so he should be able to go to that one and then my 20 week scan will probs be after we've moved so i want to try and make sure we get a copy of all the notes we can.
i'll confess to being pretty glad there's only one in there. I know with twins we would cope, but one is easier for your first i think xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I've been thinking bout you today too, and I'm so glad everything's OK hun. Hopefully the sickness will end soon and you can relax and enjoy the pregnancy
