Hi all,

I have been reading various reviews about the above two phones and it seems there is very little difference.

I only need the phone, no sim etc but they seem to be priced around £150/£160 while a Pay as You Go is around £100. Can I buy a Pay as You Go and then unlock the phone? Sorry if it's a stupid question but the phone I have now has lasted three years and was bought sim free/unlocked so I have no idea.

Can I buy a PAYG and just unlock the phone via one of the many shops one sees on the high street? I would prefer not to even activate the sim as I already have a great phone deal and of course my mobile number.

It seems a much cheaper option instead of buying one of the phones sim free.
