Only Sky Sports for couple months ?

Options
Hi,
Its a quick question.. I am x subscriber of Sky... currently only watching freeview channels by using Sky box. But, i want to watch only SkySports channel for couple of months.. like 2/3 months.. actually for Summer cricket season.. Is it possible to subscribe only SkySports channel for 2/3 months ?

Thanks

  • No, you would need to subscribe to a base package at £16.50/month and then add the sports package onto it.

Whether they would even allow this for a 2/3 month period, I don't know.

If you still have your old viewing card from when you were a subscriber i'm told you can phone sky to re-activate the account and not be tied into any minimum term. If you needed to start a new contract you would need to sign up for 12 months minimum. Give Sky a call and see what they say.

Like the previous poster said Sky Sports would need to be taken on top of the basic package.

If your looking for an official internet version there is Sky Player. However, its £34 p/m to get Sky Sports if you dont already subscribe to the Satellite service. I dont know if it shows everything as there could be rights issues but you can do it month by month.
