Hypno's spending diary for June.....
Comments
-
Todays spends are as follows:
Calculator for DS for school - £6.89. The one he has been using has OH initials scratched into the back with a compass, from when OH was at school - OH is now 43, so the calculator has been used daily for 30 years!!! Not bad going, but now the 1, 4 and 7 don't work so it was time for a new one. If we get as much use out of the new one we will have got our money's worth!
Work lottery syndicate - £10 - Am a bit annoyed because they say I owed for last month, and I am sure I didn't, but I paid up anyway. Not that we will win anything, so that really does have to go down as avoidable
Topping up my "snacks" supply at work - £4.80........all healthy, of course :rotfl:
Grocery shopping - £81.10.......nothing that isn't essential - we really did go through it before we submitted the online shop to see what else we could cut out. This is quite depressing!
So, total today £102.79
total for June - £438.08
of which totally unavoidable - £115.40
And there is more bad news to come because OH bike failed its MOT and will cost £145 to get it through :mad:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

It should be £1 a week, so it is collected approx once a month so usual commitment is £5 a month or so.
Except apparently I didn't pay last months  hmmmmm.....
I will be giving everything some thought over the next few weeks, and cutting out what I can - this may well be one of them! (then they will win!)Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Ahh.....I see I have been moved over to the diary board.
Next month's spending diary will have the title of "help, I spend too much" then it might be able to stay on the main board.

Today has been a low spend day - phew!
£1.08 on scones and bread pudding for me and DD this morning
80p on a bottle of drink for DD to take to college because she forgot her bottle of eau de tap du maison.....
£5.00 bus fare to college
£3.93 mystery shop expenses which will be reclaimed.
So, total spend today - £10.81
total spends for June - £468.89
of which £117.28 completely avoidable....;)
On the plus side - STILL no shop bought lunches or coffees :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I've not seen caramacs for years - anyway, I've not eaten them since I left Rowntrees.......after the first three or four in an evening, you sort of lose that desire for them in the same way
As for confessing all - it is supposed to scare me into spending less in the future - otherwise I will never be able to move house!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
