No I don't and nor have you or the OP stated it - so don't tell people its rubbish statement this and that - I stick to the rules of the appliance - and the OP stated it came with 5amp fuse originally.
:rotfl:
You clearly do not have even a basic understanding of simple electronics, so why post on a subject that you know nothing about?
The TV in question has a maximum power consumption of 140W so a 3A fuse is definitely OK.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Fine I wont happy now ?
I know nothing you are so clever! I might have done electronics, physics, maths, chemistry but I know nothing.

Play nicely people please?Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

You should have paid more attention than.. :rotfl:
I did not need to be taught to use the correct fuse in the correct appliance at school.
I think I know enough and do not need someone telling me I am talking rubbish when that person cannot give any constructive answer to the OP question.
To be honest having experienced some comments, I find myself trying to cancel my membership from this board (if I can find some link to do it).0 -

What you posted about the TV needing a 5A fuse was complete rubbish and this was not helpful to the OP. There is likely a 1A fuse inside the TV as 140W draws only 0.6A.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
there may be an "on board" fuse , these are normally Time delay fuses that you can source from maplins

Just to add to the "Electrical Theory" debate, the reason the TV will have a slightly higher rated fuse is for the initial power on surge, when you power up a SMPS (Switched Mode Power Supply) of which every modern TV has these days, you get a surge of "current" for a few milli seconds as the power supply starts up, then depending on the overall "load" of the TV on the Power Supply, the TV will draw what it needs from the power supply it self, the there is a good reason that anti-surge fuses or time-delay fuses are not used in AC Mains equipment (standard consumer stuff anyway) and that is for safety.
So to overcome the initial power on surge a standard but slightly over rated fuse is installed.
A bit of Ohms law: P = V * I
P = Watts. (Power)
V = Volts. (Electro-motive Force)
I = Amperes (Current)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0
