think part of the problem nmight be with scrapage you can get a kia picanto for £4195 on the road and no road rax for a year or mot's for 3 years so people may be going for these would have bought second hand.0

If it doesn't sell it's overpriced...
Which smart is it?
For £3000 privately I would expect a 54 plate pulse or similar0 -
Thanks for the replies, though I have to disagree with the 30,000 miles remark by harveybobbles....smart engines are excellent, made by Mercedes
Thats not a great way to justify it. Merc engines of late are pretty rubbish, in fact Merc's of late are pretty rubbish quality wise period.
Also i'm not sure it is a Merc engine anyway.
But i digress any further progress on the sales front??0 -
I am looking for a car for my son. He wants a Polo at £2-£3k but every one I ring up about has gone so somebody is buying. When looking I only look at https://www.autotrader.co.ukMiddlers0

Thanks for the replies.
Still no interest on the car front so next thing is local papers and lower the price a little. Its a 53 reg with low milage for age (40k). Glasses guide says £3k for one with 60k miles on it. To be honest I'd be happy with £3k but put it a little higher as everyone wants to knock the price down on cars. Garages will give me £2,600 for it.0 -
Try Ebay. Costs £14 and I have sold my last 3 cars on it very quickly
Peugeot 206 Estate
Triumph Spitfire
Ford Focus
Use the classified ads....
If you search for sold items you can tell what they are selling for. There is a massive amount of non runners for sale!
Good Luck0 -
set fire to it..:D0

Still having no luck selling.
My car is the cheapest (age/mileage) on Autotrader and Ebay. Dropped price to £2995 which it is well worth. I would understand if i had enquiries/genuine interest but had nothing at all! Apart from car scammers with dodgy bankers drafts.0 -

just looked on autotrader and there is an 05 reg with 41,000 miles for £3100 and an 03 with 16,000 miles for £3000 so plenty around that are nore attractively priced,do you live anywhere near a college or uni ,might be worth parking it nearby one with a sticker in the window,as a young person will most likely be the sort of person who would buy one.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Smart cars aren't really practical in my books. Take like yesterday, 4 of us went for a drive up the coast. You can't do that in a 2 seater Smart car!0
