Vodaphone v.s. Three SIM only

Options
Currently, Three has the best deal on sim-only (100 mins unlimited texts £10/month). However, as I have a non-3G phone (Nokia 6300) I cannot get this deal.

Vodaphone offer the next-best thing, with 100 mins 500 texts £10/month. The gist of this post is that if I were to call Vodaphone up and tell them about Three's deal, would they be likely to match it?

Ta in advance!

Well , i think the bost option to do is give them a ring and find out!! :D

Don't forget to use http://www.saynoto0845.com to find an cheap alternative number to ring vodafone. The numbers begining with 01 and 02 and 07 can be taken out of your inclusive minutes if you have any and are generally cheaper that the dreaded 0845, 0870 etc.

    Good luck with your phone

most likely the answer would be no, cause sales dept normally dont have much power to give things. But once you sign up, you can give 30 days notice, which mean you will speak to the dept who job is keep you as a customer. That dept have power to give you discount / add sms bundles, etc.. Hence what you can do is sign up and than few days later say I want a PAC due to finding that tariff. Than they will transfer you to the dept that "MIGHT" be able to help....
  • thanks iceburn... I like!

Oh scouting_gerbil, other thing which might help you I cant find the post at the moment (it might of been remove, long story.) But a person called "diamonds" posted an offer which could be useful.

If you sign up to vodafone simonly through quidco you get £40 cashback. You sign up to £20 a month simonly deal with give you 600 minutes, unlimited text I think and from 1st June the new roaming stuff but also give you a basic nokia phone for free. After the first month you call up, and give your notice. If they wont offer what you want than you leave, have got a free phone out of it, free minutes for nothing for 2 months, if it work well you are laughing :-D
