San Diego Take Two

So I don't post here often, but I lurk and love the boards all the same. Anywhoo, back at the beginning of the year I posted asking for advice on flights to San Diego to see a man... well I found a flight for £260, flew out, fell in love and in May he came and visited me in Manchester! Things have gone so well that on June 30th I'm hopefully flying back out there for a trial 3-month move!

So, your task now is to find me a cheap flight again! Here are the details:

Leaving from Manchester, or any airport if it's cheap enough, flying to SAN.
Leaving on or after 30th June, as soon as possible though.
Returning three months later!

Don't care who with, just has to be cheap!!

    Bless!

Have a look at www.kayak.co.uk, but aim to leave as close to June 30th as poss to avoid the school holidays.

I've had a look, but flights are nearing the £600 mark, which I can't afford! :(

You've left it v late now. Would you be willing to fly from another airport? Will have a look and see what I can find ...

    How about flying into LAX?

    There are flights from MAN-LAX for £432, or BHX-LAX for £400 (30 June - 30 September).

The Amtrak site is down at the mo, but last time I looked a single ticket from LAX to San Diego was approx $30, and there are buses that you could take also.

I found it on www.kayak.co.uk, think it would be booked through Air France. Have had a quick look for MAN-LAX for last two weeks of August, and can't find anything as cheap I'm afraid, but certainly worth playing around with some dates.

Remember it's 90 days for a visa waiver, not 3 months. An overstay of even a day could screw up your future plans so it does matter.

£570 is a good price for August.

not good for kids who have to be back in school though.
