Glad to hear it was nothing too serious. As long as her tum settles down soon she should be OK. It could have been the heat as well, most cats I have had tend to change their eating if its hot outside.

Hi all.

Alice is doing fine....we had a bit of a day of it yesterday though as she managed to get fleas from somewhere! So I gave her a tablet which got rid of them all, but when they freaked out so did she. Meanwhile I was washing every fabric in the house and hoover everywhere. So we were both very tired by the afternoon!

She seems all clear now though, thankfully.

Her tum seems to be settling down, although the vet said to give it 2 weeks! Which seems quite a long time...still, shall keep a close eye.

Also she sleeps on my bed with me now, well...in my bed. She gets right under the covers and stays there all night.

I wouldn't necessarily be 100% confident that the tablet you gave her will have completely solved the flea problem: that just gets rid of the adult fleas actually on the cat. Hoovering everywhere was a great idea but I sincerely hope that you burned the hoover bag, or at the very least removed it and chucked it outside. Get some spot-on Frontline asap
