Hi. Thinks she likes you? Yep but do you realise it was also her ploy to get you into the role of dedicated slave for the next umpteen years?Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

Happy to do it! :rotfl:
I do actually need some advice now though guys!
Since I've got her back, whenever she's been to the loo it's been the runs.
I'm not too alarmed by it because other than that she seems absolutely fine, she's eating, drinking and playing and is bright and happy.
Now, I'm planning on taking her to the vet for her 2nd jabs and a general check over towards the end of this week.
But, I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this? My feeling is it's the food she's eating (I've continued giving her what she was on from the people I got her from), but is it too early (9 weeks) to try and move her onto dry food do you thing?
From memory, her food is Royal Canin kitten mousse stuff....0 -
Did she have this problem before you collected her? It may be stress as she's quite young to have left her mum. I would probably try and bring forward the vets appointment and see what they say. I would recommend against a purely dry diet. If you *have* to, I would suggest Applaws kitten dry over RC and Hills a it's considerably more meat content and no grains, that is after seeing what the vet says. But I would bring the appointment forward as she could be dehydrating0

Thanks.
I've already brought the appointment forward, we're off to see the vets this evening
I think it is just stress, but I will let you all know what the vet says0 -
Aww she's lovely. She should get her second jabs at 12 weeks though & the first at 9 weeks? Have you kept her on the same food that she was on before? Sometimes just the upheaval of leaving her Mum & siblings & home can cause the runs so it'sprobably nothing & she'll be ok! Great pics0

Ah sorry just noticed you say she's on the same food, that rules that out then! When you change over just do it slowly, 10% or so new with 90% old sorta thing over a few days, orijens a fab dry but wet's better IMO0

She is absolutely gorgeous & looks exactly like my fellow when he was a kitten. Same colour & markings & the same huge ears, which he eventually grew into.
When you look at such cute kittens you wonder how anybody can dislike cats.
I hope all was well at the vets. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

Morning all!
Vets visit went fine, Alice is in good health. I've been given some food for sensitive stomachs aswell. Got to go back in a couple of weeks for her jabs.
The only thing the vet did say is that she's quite small, meaning either she's younger than I thought, or she's just ....well, small! Hehe.
But yes all is fine, and Alice was glad to get home where she promptly nearly fell in the bin!0
