@ Geoffky
Our deposit scheme HAS been checked by the FSA and you are welcome to see their correspondence upon request; as is anyone who contacts us and requests this information. We will gladly exchange information with you, you do not need to be a prospective buyer you will only need proof of I.D and proof of address, as is the norm when requesting information of a financial nature addressed to another party.

Do not confuse our deposit scheme with a so-called ‘vendor gifted deposit’. Nothing Home Buyers (UK) does makes use of a gifted deposit. In the past, gifted deposits were used as a means of getting an amount of money from a Lender that was higher than the selling price of the property. However, most Lenders no longer offer ‘gifted deposit mortgages’.
As I had said previously full disclosure is applied to ALL parties, and our deposit scheme has been checked by the FSA. If you wish to see their correspondence then contact us, in the manner I have outlined to Geoffky and we will gladly exchange information with you.0 -
So, Peter, why don't you just say what your scheme is, either here or on the website?
Being so coy about it can only lead people to draw their own unfavourable conclusions. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I don't care what the scheme is. I would never deal with someone so a) evasive and b) angry! Imagine if your purchase was delayed, how stressed would you be???Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -

Why should I post on our website full details of our deposit scheme? Would you do the same and give away your business concept and livelihood to a competitor. Of course you wouldn’t, no person in their right mind would..!
@ Emmzi
Your personal comments are no concern of mine..! However, to put your mind at rest I have spoken to a couple of our buyers who legally completed this week and they are happy to speak with you or anyone else who cares to call them. They will require proof of I.D and proof of address from you beforehand, I will be happy to pass on your details.
There is nothing coy about Home Buyers (UK) this facility is offered to all clients.0
