Carphone Warehouse - Cash back offer

Has anyone else taken advantage of a cashback offer from the Carphone Warehouse and still not received their cheque or had to wait months to receive it?

I bought a phone for my daughter in January and although it was not advertised anywhere in the shop, all of a sudden the sales guy told me about this fantastic offer on one particular phone through T Mobile.

I went ahead and took the phone on an 18 month contract and was told I would receive my cheque back within 30 days.

What a joke it is now almost June and I am still waiting, even though I have made several calls and sent emails.

Can anyone give me some advice as to whether I would have a claim against them?

Ive had a Carphone Warehouse cashback deal with o2 before when I took an 18-month contract.

I had to wait 3 months for it but it did come. The thing is with these cashback deals is they hope you will forget all about it

Keep on at them, they will send it eventually

What was this cash back offer.I hope you have something in writing as it will be nigh on impossible to get anything unless you have.Do you have anymore info?

Why anyone would wait for so long without enforcing a contract is beyond me. LBA then sue. On the other hand, if you can't prove the deal in writing forget about it and learn from your mistake.
